GOODWOOD UNITED held on to their slim one-point lead in Division One of the Tobago Football Association after slamming five goals past Belle Garden as second round matches began.

At the Cyd Gray Complex on Tuesday, Dylan York became the hat-trick hero while Kern Hades and an own-goal accounted for the five-goal tally for the winners. Shamari Muir got a consolation for Belle Garden.

The winners now have 21 points, one ahead of Carnbee/Mt Pleasant who also drubbed Charlotteville Unifiers 5-1 at Mt Pleasant.

Michael John netted a double while Kheison Romeo, Navalle Roach and Evander Roberts got one goal each for Carnbee/Mt Pleasant. Kwasi Dick got the consolation.

At Canaan, Calder Hall, third on the standings, whipped St Clair’s Coaching School 4-2.

Tyrone Manning scored twice and Garvin Roberts and Azikiwe George got one each for the winners while Shondel Morris scored both for Coaching School.
