Sharkell Loui­son scored a brace as un­beat­en Moru­ga FC drew 2-2 at home with Pitch­men FC in their fi­nal match of the South­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (SFA) Big Six com­pe­ti­tion to claim the league cham­pi­onship.

Moru­ga FC went in­to the en­counter with Pitch­men at Grand Chemin Recre­ation Ground, Moru­ga with a per­fect record of four wins from as many match­es and max­i­mum 12 points, three ahead of Pitch­men, with the lat­ter need­ing a win to take the ti­tle. Loui­son twice had the home crowd in a hap­py mood while Pitch­men replied through Tequan Ro­driguez and Akim Meade.

Al­so on Sun­day, #9 Unit­ed won by de­fault from Pe­nal All Stars while Princes Town Fal­cons and Fire Ser­vice clash was post­poned.

To­mor­row the SFA Ex­ec­u­tive Cup semi­fi­nal will take cen­tre stage with Siparia Strik­ers meet­ing Princes Town Fal­cons at Di­a­mond Recre­ation Ground from 7 pm while on Thurs­day at the same venue Pitch­men tack­les Fire Ser­vice in the oth­er semi­fi­nal for a spot in the fi­nal.
