FYZABAD embarrassed Mayaro 12-0 on Sunday in the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Championship Division Girls South Zone.

Fyzabad showed no sympathy towards their hosts, as they produced one of the more one-sided victories of the season.

Point Fortin and Debe Secondary drew 1-1 in the other South Zone meeting, with Kayla Prince scoring for Point Fortin while Shanelle Arjoon found the back of the net for Debe.

In the North Zone, Bishop’s Anstey prevailed 2-0 over St Joseph Convent while Success Laventille beat Tranquility 2-1.

Another North Zone game saw Providence do battle with St Francois but, unfortunately, no goals were scored.

Chevonne John of Bishop Anstey East scored two goals while her teammate Jalene Sobers scored one to give the hosts a 3-0 win over St George’s.

And, in the sister isle, Bishop’s High edged Speyside 1-0 with a goal from Denicia Manning.
