Men's Soccer star Leslie "Tiger" Fitzpatrick left a lasting impact at Columbia, one that is still felt today.  Fitzpatrick still holds coveted spots in the Columbia record books including #9 on all-time career goals, #3 for single season assists, #3 for career assists, and #7 for career points.  During his career at Columbia he was a four-time All-Ivy League and two-time All-Region honoree.

Colleges Invitational All-Star Tournament kicked off at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on Saturday morning, with coaches and scouts from the United States and United Kingdom ready to observe the scores of male and female football talent in Trinidad and Tobago. Scouts were also greeted by one very special guest. Minister of Sport & Youth Affairs, the Honourable Darryl Smith, was on hand to greet the international visitors. He lauded the weekend’s activities as “very impressive”, and made particular mention at the quality of the overall initiative, which commenced with an International Symposium at the Kapok Hotel on Friday.

West Texas A&M sophomore center back Khadisha Debesette has been named the Lone Star Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week announced on Wednesday afternoon by the league's offices in Richardson, Texas. This is the first career honor for Debesette as the Lady Buffs have won a weekly LSC honor for the third straight week.
