One of the premier soccer coaches in Louisiana, former professional soccer player, and a three-time NAIA All-American, Colin Rocke, will be honored by his alma mater on Saturday, October 11. The Trinidad native will receive West Virginia Wesleyan’s Young Alumni Service Award at the College’s annual Homecoming Banquet.

The UMFK men's soccer team earned their 10th win Sunday beating host Vermont Technical College 8-0 in Sunrise Conference action.  Keith Williams II (Trinidad & Tobago) scored three goals, including the first two of the game, and Jarryd Phillips (Johannesburg, S.Africa) added one goal and two assists for the undefeated and #10 nationally ranked (NAIA) Bengals (10-0-0 / 6-0-0SC).

Christian CabralTwo second half goals lifted the No. 16 West Florida men's soccer team past Harding University 2-1 Sunday afternoon in Searcy, Ark. Senior Christian Cabral (Trinidad and Tobago/St. Anthony's College) netted the deciding goal in the match to help improve the Argos to 2-0 in GSC play.

In an action packed soccer match tonight at Wilson Stadium, the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds and the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans played to a double overtime 1-1 tie. UDC struck first in the 25th minute when freshman forward Akail Belfon ( Brooklyn, NY) took a cross from freshman defender Kevin Santos (Sterling, VA) and kicked the ball in the back of the net.
