Manhattanville men's soccer senior midfielder Keston George (Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago/Victory Christian Academy) was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Week for the seventh week of the season as announced by the conference on Monday.

George lent a part in each of the Valiants' victories over conference opponents FDU-Florham and Wilkes this past week. On Tuesday, George had an assist on the second goal of the game in the Valiants' 3-0 win over the Devils of FDU-Florham. He followed his performance up with a five-point afternoon on Saturday in the team's 3-2 win over Wilkes. George scored twice in the second half, including the game-winner over the Colonels.

This season George has accumulated 21 points which includes his eight goals on the season, both totals are second on the team. In terms of career numbers George continues to climb his way to the top as he is fourth on the all-time men's soccer list for goals (33) as well as points (86), he is also tied for sixth on the all-time assists list with 20 during his four-year career.

The Valiants (11-3, 3-1 Freedom) will be back in action this Wednesday when they travel to Delaware Valley to take on the Aggies at 3:00 p.m. before returning home this weekend to take on Eastern at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, if you can't make it to the game be sure to check out the live stream of the game at GoValiants.TV.
