DEFENCE FORCE pipped Bethel United 3-2 on Sunday in a rescheduled National Super League Premiership Division encounter at the Defence Force headquarters, Chaguaramas.

With the result, Defence Force jumped one spot to fourth spot, in the 14-team standings.

Josimar Belgrave scored twice for Defence Force, in the 14th and 21st minutes, before Bethel stormed back with two goals in quick succession, from Rohan Sebro (61st) and Teejay Cadiz (68th).

However, veteran utility player Michael Edwards found the back of the net in the 86th minute to guarantee full points for the hosts.

Match Day 14 action will be contested on September 18.
