ANGOSTURA 1976 FC Phoenix of Tobago earned a place in tomorrow's National Super League knockout semi-final double-header at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar, Arima, after booting Superstar Rangers out at the quarter-final stage.

Dominique Kerr scored two late second half goals (82nd and 92nd) to see Phoenix past Rangers at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on Tuesday night.

They now meet league runners-up LSporto Connection-who won 3-0 over Caroni in their quarter-final last Friday-in the 8 p.m. second game at the Larry Gomes Stadium.

Tomorrow's opening game will feature 2004 Super League champions Joe Public and Police.

In another contest at the Hasely Crawford Stadium last Tuesday, the lawmen disposed of southern rivals Club Sando by a 5-1 margin, while last Friday Joe Public were easy 5-1 winners over M&M Harvard.
