WASA take Under-20 test in Super League.
By: Kern De Freitas (Express).

Defending bmobile National Super League champions WASA FC face a stiff challenge to their four-point lead atop the standings when they take on the Trinidad and Tobago Under-20 squad at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya tomorrow from 4 p.m.

WASA dropped two points on Sunday at home to Crab Connection, after a 65th minute strike by Bobinton King cancelled Stevon Stoute's first half item for a share of the points.

This time, they should have a sterner test from the T&T Under-20s, who recently captured the Super League knockout title.

The T&T Under-20s won their last encounter, trouncing St Francois Nationals 3-0.

Jamal Gay, who has already had a stint with the senior national team, was again on target with a second half double, after Trent Lougheed opened the national youth team's account in the fourth minute.

Also today, second-placed Angostura 1976 FC Phoenix take on St Francois Nationals at Canaan, Bon Accord in Tobago.

Phoenix were unable to take advantage of WASA's slip on Sunday, after Joe Public stormed back with two second half goals, including a 90th minute Brent Edwards strike, to earn a 2-2 draw at the Marvin Lee Stadium.

Phoenix, however, have a match in hand, having played 13, one less than WASA.

Carenage United are keeping pace with the leaders in third spot, after eking out a 2-1 win over Defence Force at Chaguaramas, despite Kerwyn Coa's goal in the 82nd.

They now face cellar-placed UTT at Youth Camp in Chaguaramas.

Joe Public, who are joint-fourth on 26 points behind the T&T Under-20s, but one spot behind them on goal difference, travel to the Southland to face Club Sando at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella.

The day's other two contests pit Crab Connection FC against Harlem Strikers at Bourg Mulatresse, and Economy Strikers against M&M Harvard at the Sangre Grande Recreation Ground.

Economy Strikers cruised past UTT 2-0, while Club Sando had a double from Derron Mathews in a 3-0 triumph against Harvard on the weekend. All tomorrow's matches kick off at 4 p.m.
