T&T Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (TTFA) Di­rec­tor Kei­th Look Loy has filed yet an­oth­er law­suit seek­ing dis­clo­sure of in­for­ma­tion re­lat­ed to the con­struc­tion of its US$2.5 mil­lion "Home for Foot­ball".

FORMER Strike Squad captain Clayton Morris is supportive of the decision to start a petition to remove president of the TT Football Association (TTFA) David John-Williams. Morris said people have become fed up with the state of T&T football and want to see the sport progress.

FORMER North American soccer confederation president Austin “Jack” Warner, accused of taking millions in bribes and kickbacks, was found in default, on Monday , in a US$20 million lawsuit against him by Concacaf which accused him and fellow FIFA official Chuck Blazer of making a fortune through embezzlement.

Fol­low­ing on the heels of loss­es in the court from the T&T Fut­sal team and ex-ref­er­ee Ramesh Ramd­han, Guardian Me­dia Sports has learnt that ex-sports com­men­ta­tor Sel­wyn Melville, through his at­tor­neys Joseph Sookdeo and Egon Em­brack, has filed doc­u­ments in the High Court in Port- of-Spain to be­gin a bat­tle for own­er­ship of the So­ca War­riors name.

KEITH LOOK Loy and Terry Fenwick are calling for the TT Football Association (TTFA) to be called to account for the dismal state of the game locally.

FORMER national football team midfielder/striker and coach Everald “Gally” Cummings is calling for a top-level technical committee “to oversee (the) preparation of all national teams”. Cummings, the only T&T footballer to be named as Sportsman of the Year (1973), made this plea in a media release on Sunday, a day after T&T’s 6-0 humiliation by the United States in a Concacaf Gold Cup Group D fixture in Cleveland, Ohio, US.“A very disappointing performance but not unexpected,” was how Cummings described the performance of the Dennis Lawrence-coached T&T squad.
