The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association will host a Club licensing workshop conducted by CONCACAF officials  this Wednesday at the National Cycling Velodrome, Couva.

The workshop is geared towards Pro League and Super League clubs, the First Instance Body and Appeals Body for Club Licensing.

The workshop will be conducted by Christian Tonelli – CONCACAF Professional Football Development Supervisor and Jonathan Martinez, head of Professional football development, club licensing and League development at Concacaf.

Among the topics for Wednesday’s workshop include an overview of club licensing, a review of club licensing regulations, communication deadlines, documentation review and the decision making process

Club Licensing is aimed at playing a key role in supporting the development of football within the region and is anticipated to raise the level of professionalism in clubs, while improving their efficiency.

According to Concacaf, the growth of leagues and clubs is directly related to key performance indicators within the areas of infrastructure, sporting, administration, finance, legal and social responsibility. CONCACAF’s club licensing program provides tools that raise the level of professionalism in league and club management.
