A close source to the Soca Warriors Online (SWO) confirmed that a FIFA conference for the positions of CONCACAF General Secretaries and Technical Directors began yesterday morning in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Representing the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) were current TTFF secretary Richard Groden, TTFF employer and Guyana Technical Director and head coach Jamaal Shabaaz.
The source further disclosed that he had a problem in particular with Jamaal Shabaaz being head coach of Guyana and representing the TTFF at the same time.
He said that: "One person should work for and represent two national associations simultaneously is unheard of and unacceptable, nothing personal, but, there is a conflict of interest here."

Meanwhile, it was reported yesterday that current TTFF President Oliver Camps is among 10 Caribbean football officials under investigation over their alleged roles in a bribery scandal involving former FIFA presidential candidate Mohamed bin Hammam.
FIFA says it wants to interview the 10 men from six countries and present files to its ethics committee next month. Bin Hammam is appealing his life ban for offering $40,000 USD cash bribes in May, 2011. Warner resigned to avoid a FIFA investigation.
