Trinidadian midfielder Marvin Faustin and Grenadian defender Steve Mark will represent Barbados' football club Lambada in the Miller Cup, a regional club championship, team officials said on Thursday.

Lambada's manager Kevin Millard said Faustin and Mark are due in Bridgetown on Monday to join a 17-member squad in training ahead of the club's opening match against Racing Club St. Joseph of Martinique here next Friday.

Millard, a former Barbados soccer coach, said the players have been drafted into the squad to boost the team's chances of reaching the finals, scheduled for Los Angeles in February between zonal winners.

The tournament, one of the leading club championships in the CONCACAF region, is being contested in four zones, on a home and away basis.

Lambada are grouped with Racing, Olympique of Guadeloupe, SML of Suriname and Malta Caribs of Trinidad and Tobago.
