Clayton Ince could miss the remainder of this season after X-rays' confirmed that he has broken a finger. The Trinidad and Tobago International suffered the injury at the tail end of training and after undertaking an X-ray our worse fears have been confirmed by the club's physiotherapist Matt Radcliffe. A break should see him sidelined between six to eight weeks. Therefore, he could return for the last few games of the current campaign if everything goes according to plan.


With the news that Ince is ruled out, Ben Williams will be recalled to the starting line-up for the first time since October. The former Manchester United trainee, who was a revelation whilst on loan last season lost his place following a 3-2 home defeat to Sheffield United and has to wait patiently for another chance.

Therefore youngster Stuart Tomlinson has been recalled early from a loan spell at Stafford Rangers and will act as cover on the Alex bench.
