Freshman standout Shaquille Huggins (Trinidad and Tobago) has been recognized as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team.
A true freshman from Trinidad and Tobago, Shaquille Huggins provided spectacular play in the middle of the field all season long. As a defensive midfielder, Huggins was a huge reason for the defensive success and the eight Bobcat shutouts. Huggins scored his first career points with a game winning goal in Quinnipiac's first win of the season against Providence. The goal was also the first of the 2014 season after three scoreless games.
