La Horquetta Sporting Academy picked up its second title in the 2012 Eastern Football Association season when they came from behind to beat Joe Public 3-2 in the President’s Cup final at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya on Sunday.

Nathan Julien fired Joe Public ahead in the 40th but just before the interval, Keron Clarke equalised for La Horquetta with a shot from distance as the League Cup winners went into the half, 1-1.
 
On the resumption, Kerron Roach headed Joe Public back in front on 75 minutes. However, La Horquetta, runners-up in the Premier Division drew level via a penalty converted by Clarke, before Taje Commissiong headed home the winner.
 
La Horquetta earned 23 gold medals and $4,500 while Joe Public collected $3,000 and 23 silver medals.
 
In the semifinals, four different players scored for La Horquetta in a 4-3 win over Pinto United, 4-3, while Joe Public got the better of EFA FA Trophy and Premier Division winners, Malabar FC, 5-4 on penalty-kicks after a 2-2 draw.
