Multibionta Police captured the $10,000 All Sports Promotion Savannah Football 2012 title with a convincing 3-1 defeat of Fruta Football Factory at Casuals Ground, Queen’s Park Savannah on December 21.

The lawmen took the lead as early as the sixth minute when eventual “Most Valuable Player” of the final, Kelon Williams netted before Real Didier double his team’s lead for a 2-0 cushion at the end of the first-half of the 70-minute contest.
 
Six minutes into the second-half, Colin Williams, voted the tournament’s “Best Forward” extended Police’s advantage to 3-0 but five minutes later Jason “Travis” Charles pulled a goal back for Football Factory.
 
Police led by the tournament’s “Best Defender” award recipient in Kheon Archie stood firm afterwards to secure a second win in seven years in the competition which only resumed this season after a four-year hiatus.

The lawmen also walked with the individual awards for “Best Goalkeeper” and “Best Midfielder” in Fenwick Charles and Dwight Elliot respectively, while Football Factory’s Rasheed Simon copped the “Most Goals” award with six strikes. All the individual award winners collected $500 each.
