Kori Cupid, 15, Sebastian Camacho, 16, and 14-year-old Travell Edwards were chosen from 31 participants of the local leg of the Digicel Kick Start Clinic at the Digicel Box at the Queen’s Park Oval, St Clair, on Monday.

The selections were made after an intense session with the Chelsea coaches at the King George V Park earlier that day.

Making the announcements was Chelsea Foundation coach David Monk, the senior international football development officer, who said the “benchmark was set very high.”

For Camacho, this was his second attempt to try out for the clinic and his hard work and determination paid off.

The three young footballers will represent T&T in a week-long training session at Digicel Academy in Barbados in October.

Each of the boys that attended the clinic were given a certificate of participation signed by Monk.
