MARABELLA FAMILY Crisis Centre thrashed Flamengo FC 5-2 on Thursday in the Under-13 Division, in the preliminary round of the Central Football Association (CFA) Annual Youth Indoor Football Competition.
The tournament is being staged at the Chaguanas Indoor Sports Facility.
Dillon Yearwood and Nickel Rawlins netted two goals apiece for Marabella, with Steven Thomas getting the other strike. Nicholas Murray and Aleem Barclay responded for Flamengo.
Also on Thursday, Marabella were held to a 1-1 draw by El Socorro, with Rawlins finding the back of the net for Marabella, while Malix Samuel scored for El Socorro.
Blast FC earned two victories on the day, over El Socorro and Flamengo respectively.
Against El Socorro, Blast got a 2-1 win, with Dwight Yorke and Kyle Phillip on target for Blast, with Kerron Jones getting the consolation for the losers.
And Blast later gained a 3-0 default win over Flamengo.
