Jerval Guadeloupe, the eventual tournament “Most Valuable Player” awardee and Keston John scored two goals each as Crown Trace spanked Marabella Family Crisis Centre 5-1 to lift the Chaguanas Borough Corporation/Central Football Association Under-15 Indoor football extravaganza at the Central Regional Indoor Sports Arena, Saith Park, Chaguanas on Sunday.

 

Kwame Duprey got the other goal for Crown Trace in the final of the one-day, eight-team event which was held as part of the Chaguanas Borough Day 2013 celebrations while Jayace Tares scored for Marabella.

In the semifinals, Marabella edged Blast FC 1-0 with Nikel Rawlins the scorer while Crown Trace FC and Caps Off Youths battled to a 3-3 draw at the end of regulatime before Crown Trace won on penalty-kicks.

Keston Virri with a double and John netted for Crown Trace in regulation whime while Ronaldo Robertson (2) and Kevon Williams were on target for Cap Off Youths.

Blast got some redemption when they edged out Cap Off Youths FC for third spot on penalties, aftera 1-1 deadlock with Brandon Semper (Blast) and Kevon Williams the players on target in regulation time.

The other treams in the tournament, which carried a winning cash prize of $1,200 presented at the end by Mayor Orlando Nagessar, were Perseverance Ball Runners, Edinburgh 500, Tabaquite FC and Gary John Coaching School.
