The Elite team lived up to their name, lifting the OAS Cup on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Steel Benders in the final of the inaugural OAS Football Fete Match held at Debe High School.

Elite got goals from Keston Grant and Vladimiro Jose Flambo Guerra while securing bragging rights in the process. Keston Grant was MVP of the tournament, where two Neymar T-shirts were also raffled.

In all, the competition featured ten teams from the various work sites of the Debe to Point Fortin Highway project: Golconda United, Golconda Warriors, Elite, Foreshore Boys, Berridge Trace United, Berridge Trace Strikers, Scrape Up, Steel Benders, Scaffolders FC and De Bulldozers.
