PREMIER DIVISION Group A leaders Cumuto Strike Force triumphed 3-2 over KOB Kings last Saturday, at the Crown Street Recreation Ground in Tacarigua, in the Churches Football League.

 Darryl Jessop, Akeem King and Ronald Boyce were the goalscorers for Cumuto, while Kevon Alleyne got a pair for KOB Kings. 

Kayode Williams and Marlon Bharrat found the back of the net for Greater Malabar Christian Centre, as they strolled past Reformation Life Centre 2-0 at Squadron Ground in Arouca. 

In Group B, Church on the Rock were in a ruthless mood against Woodbrook AIC at Park Street, Morvant, as they inflicted a 7-0 thrashing with an own goal, in addition to strikes from Dwayne O’Connor, Clevon McKee, Kareem Andrew, Kevon Edwards, Lester Durham and Shaquille Clarke. 

Reigning League champs Global Encounter Ministries earned a narrow 3-2 win over D’Abadie Deliverance Sanctuary at Constantine Park, Macoya. 

Yanick Nelson scored twice for Global Encounter Ministries while Neil Joseph notched the other. D’Abadie got a goal apiece from Daniel Christmas and Adrian Beharry. 

In Group A of the First Division, Caribbean Nazarene College hammered Genesis 8-1 at the CNC Ground while Fathers House edged Divine Encounter Fellowship 3-2 at the Prime Minister’s Park in Five Rivers, Arouca. 

Lawrence Burke scored twice while Yannick Simeon got the other for Fathers House, while Arnold Hackshaw and Keaton Williams responded for Divine Encounter. 

In Group B action, Kevin Campbell registered a hat-trick and Jamal Burke notched a double as Peoples United in Fellowship drubbed New Testament Warriors 8-1 at the Pinto Ground in Arima. Mchail St Louis, Yuri Akelo and Kendell Gillard were also on target for Peoples United, with Nathaniel Guy notching the consolation for New Testament. 

RCC and Bethel FC battled to a high-scoring 4-4 draw at the Aranguez Recreation Ground.
