RONNIE’S ELECTRICAL Strange Village Sports Club is presently on course towards claiming two 2014 Barrackpore Football League titles when action climaxes in this year’s edition on Wednesday and Sunday.
Firstly, the defending league champions must get past Diamond Rangers in the Knockout semi-finals in order to lock horns with JD’s Connection in Wednesday’s final. JD’s Connection squeezed into the knock-out finals after edging Manahambre Football Club on penalties 5-4. The knockout trophy match is scheduled to kick- off at the Barrackpore Recreation Ground on Wednesday from 7 pm.
Additionally, Ronnie’s Electrical Strange Village Sports Club is also set to defend its League title when the championship match kicks-off at the same location on Sunday from 4 pm. They will do battle against Diamond Rangers for the crown. The pair advanced to the final after topping their respective groups.
And in the third place playoff, JD’s Connection goes up against Manahambre Football Club at the same location.

The grand finals and prize giving ceremony is set for Sunday at the Barrackpore Recreation Ground from 4 pm.
