GUAYA UNITED edged 1976 FC Phoenix 2-1 on Wednesday in a rescheduled fixture in the National Super League.

 With the result, Guaya, the 2013-2014 champions, remained in ninth spot in the 15-team standings. 

Today will feature six matches in Round 11, with Guaya visiting Malabar FC at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Arima while leaders WASA FC will entertain Siparia Spurs and Defence Force will host Club Sando at the Macqueripe Youth Camp, Chaguaramas.

Those matches will begin at 4 pm while, an hour later, Coosal’s Las Lomas United will oppose Petrotrin Palo Seco at the Madras Recreation Ground in Cunupia and Real Maracas will host FC Santa Rosa at the Maracas Recreation Ground in St Joseph. 

The final game of the day’s agenda will feature D’ Lime Bar Goal City against Bethel United at the Plymouth Recreation Ground from 6.30 pm.
