Speyside Secondary will battle Scarborough Secondary from 5pm at Plymouth for the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Coca Cola InterCol Tobago Zone title when action in the knockout tournament continues today at Plymouth.

And in the BGTT/ First Citizens Girls InterCol competition, the East and Tobago zone champions will also be determined today.

Should Speyside win this afternoon, they will complete a double having already won the zonal League title.
Signal Hill arrived at the final by galloping over Bishop’s Secondary 6-0 in the preliminaries, while edging Pentecostal Light & Light 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 tie in the semi-finals last Wednesday.

Speyside benefitted from a bye in the zonal preliminaries before easing past Goodwood 4-1 on Wednesday.
The winners of this clash will play the winners of the North Zone final--the teams for which are still to be determined—on November 25 at Shaw Park.

In the Girls competition, St Augustine tackle Bishop’s East at Bourg Mulatresse from 3.30 p.m. today.

Both teams got a preliminary stage bye but convincingly advanced from the semi-final stage, the Green Machine with a 4-0 shutout of St George’s College and Bishop’s with a 4-1 victory over Five Rivers Secondary.

In the Tobago Zone, the girls of Bishop’s oppose Scarborough Secondary for the crown at Plymouth from 3 p.m. today.

Like their East zone counterparts , Scarborough and Bishop’s preliminary bye sent them straight to semi-final encounters against Speyside (3-0) and Signal Hill (2-0) respectively.
