Inform striker Devon JorslingTrinidad and Tobago national football team recorded its second straight win when the Soca Warriors shut out St Lucia 3-0 in the Tri-Nation international friendly series at Antigua Recreation Ground, St John’s, Antigua yesterday.

Defence Force striker Devon Jorsling opened the scoring for T&T in the 22nd minute, former German based striker Jamal Gay scored T&T's second in the 53rd before W Connection talented winger Hughtun Hector 86th minute item sealed the victory for Latapy's men.

The Warriors have now drawn level with St Lucia in the head to head meeting, with both countries claiming two wins, with the other match drawn. Technical director, Lincoln Phillips, said the team improved on its 1-0 performance from Sunday's game against Antigua & Barbuda‎.

“There is more fight now and things are shaping up. We should have won by a wider margin, as there were a number of opportunities created,” said Phillips.

The team returns today, before leaving for Guyana, where they will take on that country’s Golden Jaguars on Sunday at the National Stadium, Providence.

Trinidad and Tobago’ meanwhile, have slipped a whopping 21 places in the latest official FIFA world ranking. The ‘Soca Warriors’ is now 97th in the world after being 76th during the last ranking in August.
