Trinidad and Tobago's National U-20 footballers drew 1-1 with El Salvador U-20 yesterday at the Plymouth ground in Tobago. El Salvador took the lead from the penalty spot through Lester Blanco in the 21st minute before T&T midfielder Sean De Silva got the equaliser for the host in the 27th minute to deny El Salvador a victory.

T&T Under-20 footballers preparing for the upcoming final Concacaf qualification round of the 2009 Fifa World Youth Cup bowed 1-3 to Honduras in a warm-up match on Carnival Tuesday at Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago. Playing an under-strength team, the local youngsters made three silly mistakes in losing the match.“I did not expect anything special because we knew that the guys would not be ready mentally,” stated coach Zoran Vranes, of Yugoslavia.

T&T Under 20 striker Jamal Gay, it has been reported, has signed a two year deal with German Second Division club Rotweiss Oberhausen. Gay has been on trial there for the past few weeks before agreeing to the offer.
