Trinidad and Tobago's Olympic footballers will not allow themselves to be carried away by Friday night's 1-0 victory over Denmark's Under-23 squad at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya.

Denmark's coach Flemming Serritslev admitted that T&T were the better side on the night and is hoping to have a positive result against Jamaica today.

The T&T side was strengthened by the return of Hector Sam, Brent Rahim and Derek King from senior duty in Morocco.

The visitors saw more of the T&T goal in the opening stages. Daniel Jensen had goalkeeper Jefferson George saving off his line after five minutes. Slowly T&T settled and began building promising attacks on goal but were guilty of carelessly giving up possession just as Danish 'keeper Casper Anuergren seemed to be preparing for a save.

Rahim displayed ideal composure and passing ability throughout while Defence Force striker Jason Scotland, Joseph Peters and Hector Sam tried repeatedly to get past the Danish custodian While Brent Sancho anchored the defence T&T began seeing more of the opposition's 18-yard box.

Then substitute Adrian Narine of Joe Public, who was brought into the side at the last moment by Shabaaz, collected a cross from the right by Anton Pierre and hit a scorcher past the Danish custodian for the winner.
