Defending league champion, Aqurt Village qualified to meet newcomer Aka in the opening knockout final of the Clarke Road Eight-A-Side Football League. When the tournament opened last week Sunday on Wilson Road Recreation Ground, Aqurt Village stopped Penal All Stars 1-0 in one semifinal with Aka edging Alton All Stars by the same margin in the other.
