SPORT RETURNS to the Aranjuez Savannah following the political activity of the previous weekend as the 2015 season of the Mohammed’s Electrical Coaching Academy (MECA) football programme kicks off tomorrow morning.

MECA officials will be on hand from 8.30 am at the pavilion of the Hafeez Karamath Limited Aranjuez Sports Club to take parents, guardians and students through the registration process before the actual coaching sessions get underway the following Sunday under the supervision of experienced former footballer and cricketer Vernon “Sam” Sadaphal.

Registration fee for the entire season, which runs every Sunday until the first week of December, is $100. Catering for boys and girls aged five to 17, the clinic’s intake averages 65 students per season in three age groups.

Parents and guardians with returning students, or those seeking to have their charges participate for the first time, are urged to register early to take full advantage of every coaching session, which runs from 8.30 am to 11 am from Sunday September 20.
