With WASA FC and Real Maracas playing to yet another goalless draw, as it did in the first leg fixture, earlier this season, Joe Public, playing at the same time was able to soar to within a point at the top, with perhaps the most important match for the top two looming a week away.

Joe Public are not happy with the choice of the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet as the venue for last Sunday’s Blink/Bmobile National Super League Knockout final.

League leader WASA FC will be looking to maintain its place at the top of the blink/bmobile National Super League standings, when it travels to the Maracas Recreation Ground, St Joseph, to take on Real Maracas, today.

The Blink/bmobile National Super have not escaped the apparent dispute between the Ministry of Sport and the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF), which has seen the local football governing body being denied Government funding in the last six months.

The top three positions remained the same, but WASA FC was able to extend its lead at the crown of the blink/bmobile National Super League (NSL) 12-team standings after cruising past bottom placed Biche United 4-1, in Match Day 12 action, yesterday.

Tobago's Stokely Vale went a step better than the previous year, when the won the Super League knockout title on Sunday with a comfortable 3-0 win over defending champions Joe Public at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Tobago.

With a new winner emerging out of the knockout competition, Stokely Vale, action will now resume with a full slate of matches in the blink/bmobile National Super League (NSL), today.

It is a repeat of the 2011 final. Defending champions Joe Public will meet Tobago's Stokely Vale in the final of the 2012 blink/bmobile National Super League Knock-out final.
