FORMER ST VINCENT/Grenadines striker Shandel Samuel registered a beaver-trick as Malabar FC drubbed St Francois Nationals 4-0 at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) O’Meara, Arima last Wednesday, in the Fourth Round of action in the National Super League.

Samuel got his name on the scoresheet in the 63rd, 68th, 75th and 80th minutes.

The other two games on Wednesday ended with 2-2 results. Leaders Guaya United continued their unbeaten run when they drew with hosts Enterprise Youth at Edinburgh 500, Chaguanas.

Denzil Daniel but Enterprise in front after 26 minutes but Guaya responded with two goals, in two minutes, from Leroy Jones (40th) and Carlon Hughes (41st). However, Guaya were unable to maintain their unbeaten run when Ryan Frederick got the equaliser in the 48th. At the Mahaica Oval, Point Fortin earned a share of the points with Bethel.

Point Fortin got strikes from Stephen Joseph (13th) and Darryl Pope (83rd) while Bethel were indebted to items from Dwayne Marcelle (23rd) and Anton Primus (54th). With only one round of matches remaining, both Guaya and Malabar have booked spots in the 2013 National Super League.

Both teams are already assured of the top two places, which guaranteed them progression to the Super League. The Qualifiers will end on Sunday, with Guaya visiting St Francois at the Diego Martin Junior Secondary School Ground, Malabar travelling to the sister isle to face Bethel at Plymouth and Point Fortin hosting Enterprise at Mahaica. All matches will kick off at 4 pm.
