A PROTEST lodged by Bethel United, against the eligibility of a player from Guaya United, have resulted in the cancellation of the final round of matches in the National Super League Qualifying competition.
The final-round was scheduled to take place on March 24 but, according to a media release from Neville Ferguson, chairman of the Competitions and Tournaments Committee, “the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) Disciplinary Committee met on April 2 to enquire into the protest.
“The Competitions and Tournament Committee is still awaiting the Disciplinary Committee’s decision in the matter.”
