The two Tobago teams made early exits in the blink/bmobile National Super League (NSL) 2013 knockout competition yesterday.
Stokely Vale FC hosted Defence Force at Plymouth Recreation Ground in Tobago, but it was the Army men posting a come-from-behind victory on two second half goals from Jamil Bailey to win 2-1 after a 0-0 halftime score. Stokely Vale’s goal came from Darron Williams in the 58th minute.
And Bethel United also exited in the first round on accounted of a 4-0 whipping at the hands of Westside Superstarz FC. Chuvalos George scored two goals, one on either side of the break, while Christon Frietas (52nd) and Akil Morris (90th) added the others.
