LANCE HAYNES scored a hat-trick as Prisons FC demolished Stokely Vale 12-2 on Sunday in the Second Round of the CNG National Super League Knockout Tournament.

Stokely Vale have endured a rough 2015- 2016 season, but they were no match for a rampant Prisons FC team at the Youth Training Centre (YTC) Ground in Arouca.

Haynes found the back of the net in the fourth, 24th and 31st minutes, while Stephen Julien (22nd and 66th) and Curtis Carrington (57th and 90th) scored two goals apiece.

Also getting their names on the scoresheet were Gabriel Gour (29th), Cleve Moore (30th), Ricardo Alleyne (39th), Kwesi Jeffrey (83rd) and an own goal (87th).

Kevin Thomas (42nd and 77th) got both goals for Stokely Vale.

Guaya United eliminated Club Sando Moruga 3-2 at the Guaya Recreation Ground in Guayaguayare. Carlon Hughes netted twice for Guaya United, in the 67th and 86th, while Kheelon Mitchell got the other in the 72nd.

Club Sando Moruga were rewarded with strikes from Silus Cooper (83rd) and an own goal (88th). NLCB La Horquetta SA registered a comfortable 3-1 win over Cunupia FC at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Arima. After Kern Roberts netted for La Horquetta in the 21st, Stevon Stoute evened the scores for Cunupia in the 29th minute. But La Horquetta regained the lead for good, with items from Taje Commissiong (56th) and Wesley Elcock (90th).

Defence Force also earned a 3-1 win, over FC Santa Rosa, at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium’s Training Ground in Marabella. Ronald St Louis scored a pair, in the 10th and 70th, while Michael Edwards got the other in the 78th.

In the neighbouring Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella Family Crisis Centre defeated Police 2-1. Past and present Trinidad and Tobago Under-20 players Juma Clarence (28th) and Levi Garcia (77th) found the back of the net for Marabella Family Crisis Centre, while Jason Boodram (63rd) responded for Police.

Eustace Darius scored twice as Petrotrin Palo Seco pipped Matura Re United 2-1 at the Palo Seco Velodrome. Darius struck in the 30th and 57th while Kerin Vincent replied for Matura in the 36th.

At the Canaan Recreation Ground, 1976 FC Phoenix earned a narrow 1-0 win over WASA FC with Lejandro Williams scoring in the 35th.

The Second Round fixture between Siparia Spurs and Bethel United will be staged at the Petrotrin Ground, Fyzabad on October 18.
