JABARI CARASQUERO scored a hat-trick as Saddle Hill Hotspur trounced Malabar FC 9-3 on Monday, at the D’Abadie Recreation Ground in Arouca, in a Match Day 12 fixture of the CNG National Super League Championship Division.

Carasquero found the back of the net in the 32nd, 34th and 81st minutes, while former national striker Hector Sam (45th and 78th) and Rachard Allen (second and 90th) contributed two goals apiece.

Also scoring for Saddle Hill were legendary TT striker Stern John (15th) and Randy Britto (87th).

The goal-scorers for Malabar FC were Dinell Lopez (12th), Xae- Pierre De Fou (58th) and Dominic Douglas (67th).

Barrackpore United climbed off the bottom of the standings after hammering Petit Valley United 6-0 at the Barrackpore Recreation Ground. Mikheil Peters registered a hat-trick (45th, 55th and 72nd) while Antonius Myers (40th and 67th) and Trent Lougheed (64th) got the other strikes for the hosts.

At the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) O’Meara Campus Ground in Arima, UTT strolled past Xtra Foods Chaguanas FC 5-2.

Jamal Creighton notched a treble (ninth, 28th and 69th) while Theon James (third) and ex-national midfielder Kevaughn Connell (45th) added one each. Neon O’Garro (27th) and Delta Rodriguez (75th) were on target for Chaguanas.

Ricardo Alleyne (27th), Larry Albert (30th) and Curtis Carrington (65th) got the names on the scoresheet as Prisons FC took care of Edinburgh 500 FC by a 3-0 margin at the Youth Training Centre (YTC) Ground in Arouca.

The only drawn result was Cunupia FC and leaders Queen’s Park, as they played to a goalless tie at the Edinburgh 500 Recreation Ground, Chaguanas.

Match Day 13 fixtures will be staged on November 21.
