Kareem Robley scored twice as lowly Bethel United denied Defence Force from going top of the CNG Super League Premier Division after a 2-2 draw on Sunday.

With table leaders Guaya United (40 points) not in due to its  Toyota Classic duties, Defence Force (38 points) had a chance to regain top spot on the 15-team table.

Jahvon Neptune got the “Teteron Men” off to the best start possible witha  15th minute opener, but within eight minutes Robley got Bethel on level terms. Ten minutes before the half-time interval, Aaron Lester restored Defence Force’s slim lead at 2-1, but three minutes into the second-half, Robley got his second of the match to earn his team a share of the points.

With the point earned, Defence Force improved to 39 points from 19 matches, still one behind Guaya United which has two matches in hand while third placed Tobago 1976 FC Phoenix has 33 points from 18 matches, after whipping visitors Marabella Family Crisis Centre, 3-1 at Canaan Ground, Bon Accord.

The duo of Aqui Raiem Raymond (28th) and Stefano Wright (37th) netted for Pheonix to lead 2-0 at the half, while Keston Cupid pulled a goal back for Marabella in the 67th, before Darryl Trim sealed all three points for the hosts in the 89th.

Elsewhere, Police blanked Real Maracas 2-0 at the St James Barracks and WASA whipped Club Sando Moruga 3-1 at Grand Chemin Recreation Ground.
