A treble from Kerin Vincent did the trick for Matura. After he opened the scoring in the 12th minute, Teejay Cadiz equalised with a 16th-minute strike for Bethel United; but Vincent made the perfect response, scoring again in the 38th and 69th minutes to give his team a 3-1 victory.

Women Warriors turned Club Sando Moruga coach Dernell Mascall notched a win against Santa Rosa thanks to a strike from Kyle Morgan in the 13th minute.

The win saw the team move up to third place.

Coming up behind Club Sando in fourth was WASA FC, who edged Siparia Spurs 2-1, thanks to items from Glen Walker in the 15th and 37th minutes, while Spurs’ Chris Collins got their lone item in the 34th.

Petrotrin Palo Seco defeated last season’s runners-up Guaya United 2-0, with goals in each half from Antuan John in the 11th minute, and Shakuile Williams in the 85th minute.

Marabella Family and Crisis Centre got the better of Police FC thanks to goals from Juma Clarence in the 21st minute, Andrei Pacheco (26th) and Arvid Applewhite (38th). Colin Williams netted twice for the “lawmen” in the 65th and 90th minutes.

Real Maracas FC helped themselves to a healthy 4-0 win at home against 1976 FC Phoenix, with Ryan Stewart (12th), Dillon Bartholomew (26th), Kheelon Mitchell (46th) and Aaron Peters (49th) all getting on the scoresheet to wrap up the three points.

Reigning champions T&T Defence Force were able to edge last year’s Championship Division winners Queen’s Park Cricket Club 4-3.
