Real Maracas grabbed the final spot for qualification into the bMobile Super Football League yesterday, after beating Siparia Spurs 2–0 on its home ground in Maracas.

Maracas edged out Eagles for promotion after unbeaten West Side Stars inflicted a 4–2 beating on the Central champion on Presentation College grounds in Chaguanas.

Heading into the match already assured of promotion, West Side Stars kept its undefeated slate intact with a double from Akil Gilbert, a goal from Brandon Fountain and an own goal. The Northern champion led 2­–0 at half-time.

Real Maracas set up its victory with two first half goals, the first by Brian Hinds in the tenth minute and the other by Handel Manswell in the 23rd.

It earned the all important spot ahead of Eagles on a better goal difference (+1), after both teams completed its five-match schedule on seven points.

St Clair’s Coaching School, the winner of the Tobago Football Association, finished a point behind Real Maracas and Eagles, after disposing of Matura Reunited 5–1 over in the sister isle. Kino Proctor was the star of the match, banging in goals in the 20th, 23rd and 50th minutes.
