Six-time champions Carenage Government School marched into the final of the Atlantic sponsored Primary School Football League, with a hard-fought 2–1 win over St Agnes Anglican School at the Queen’s Park Savannah, yesterday.

They will meet Eastern Boys in the final today at Queen’s Royal College Ground at 10 am. Eastern Boys defeated Our Rose 3–1 in the other semifinal on Wednesday.

Over the past four years, Eastern Boys have met Carenage Gov’t on three occasions, with Carenage winning all the encounters. However, victory was only achieved in extra time and there was always only a one goal difference between the teams. The game today looks to be a thriller in the making.

In the girls division, St Barb’s earned the right to be in the final by defeating Diamond Vale Gov’t 2–1 in their semifinal encounter. They will meet National Champions St Agnes at 9 am today.

School Supervisor II Rose Bereaux will kick off in the girls’ final, while School Supervisor I Ahmad Yusuff Ali will kick off for the boys’ final.
