Vos Government Primary and Carenage Government Primary both secured quarterfinal berths in the Atlantic National Primary Schools Football League boys' competition, following tense wins in the round of 16, yesterday.

Vos defeated Couva South 7-6 on penalties after a 0-0 scoreline at Manny Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella, while Carenage beat Valencia South 5-3 on penalties following a 3-3 deadlock at the end of regulation time.

The round of 16 continues today with three matches in the girls' competition and two in the boys' tournament.
