Rangers and Dundee were last night told to stop complaining by Trinidad and Tobago, as Marvin Andrews and Brent Sancho prepare for ten more World Cup qualifiers in the next 11 months.
Soca Warriors' general manager Richard Braithwaite spoke ahead of tonight's Port of Spain qualifier against St Vincent and Grenadines - and his anger was audible even at a distance of several thousand miles.

Rangers are anxious about Andrews ahead of Saturday's lunchtime Old Firm kick off. But Trinidad coach Bertille St Clair will not necessarily cut short the Ibrox defender's playing time this evening, despite needing only to avoid a 3-0 defeat.

Trinidad have even warned that they could have 'banned' Rangers from fielding Andrews against Hibs at Easter Road last Sunday because it fell within the five-day period allowed by World Cup squads.

"I am getting angry at comments being made about Trinidad and Tobago. It's as if people think they can just have a go because we are a small nation and not very important," said Braithwaite.

"Hislop was left out of the squad because our coach wanted to look at another goalkeeper. Also, we could have invoked the five-day rule on Rangers to stop them playing Marvin Andrews last Sunday. We didn't do that and I've had no contact from Dundee, even though they seem to have plenty to say about us."

"Andrews and Sancho should be back in Glasgow by Friday lunchtime. We will send them business-class direct from here on Thursday night via London because that is better than going via Miami or New York."

"If we don't lose 3-0 to St Vincent, then we'll have another 10 games. There will be about three before the end of the season, three of four in June and July, then the rest at the start of next season."

"And strangely enough we'll want our best players."
