The Tour of Tobago may have stolen most of the sporting headlines on Sunday, but that didn't stop the BGTT/First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) girls division from rolling on across the country.

St Augustine Secondary stole the show, as they blew past San Juan North Secondary 8-0 to move to the top of the East Zone level on points with Bishop Anstey East. They sit at the top of the standings with a superior goal difference.

The match between Five Rivers and Bishop's Anstey East was postponed to a date yet to be announced.

Bishop's Anstery Port of Spain routed St Francois Girls 4-0, while Diego Martin Cenral Secondary edged Success Laventille Secondary in a 5-4 roller coaster. St Joseph's Convent also scored five, however in an emphatic 5-0 win over Providence Girls to move to second in the North Zone.

Diego Martin currently lead the Zone.

In the south, Point Fortin Secondary lost their first match 1-0 to Fyzabad Secondary, as the "Fyzo" girls go level on points with Point Fortin at the top of the Zone.

St Joseph's Convent San Fernando saw their way past San Fernando East 3-0.

Scarborough continue their march to the zonal title in Tobago, as they beat Signal Hill Secondary 2-0. Mason Hall Secondary edged Bishop's High 1-0.

Mason Hall are currently second; three points behind leaders Scarborough.
