The BG T&T Secondary Schools Football League Girls Championship National League final may be played at the end of the 2010 SSFL season after a forced postponement yesterday.

Tobago champions Roxborough Secondary were expected to meet South Zone winners and defending champions Debe High School at Guaracara Park at 3.30 p.m.

Debe were at the match venue waiting to play when they found out the match had been postponed, after yesterday's weather threat put the match under a cloud.

Roxborough were in Trinidad, but a decision was taken not to play with the match after word circulated that Trinidad and Tobago were likely to have bad weather late yesterday.

The InterCol competition has already started for the girls, and will kick off for the boys on Monday. That means there will be little chance for a break to play the final.

The boys "Big Five" final between St Augustine Secondary and St Anthony's College, also scheduled for yesterday, was cancelled earlier this week because of a lack of suitable venues.

That match will most likely be played at the end of the season, and in all probability, the finals will be played as a national League doubleheader.
