The Under-15 team of St George’s College had an outstanding season in the Secondary Schoolgirls Football League. After copping the East Zone title, the “Georgian Family”, as they are popularly known, maintained their composure by going on to capture the national crown. In the East Zone final, St George’s whipped Bishop’s East 2-1; while in the National Zonal final it turned back the challenge of Point Fortin East Secondary, winning 3-1.

St George’s played the national final without key striker Khadijah de Freitas, who was injured in the semifinal match against St Joseph’s Convent (Port of Spain). Kochelle Clarke was the skipper of the side with Sobrina Persad the goalkeeper and Shonisa Gomes-Camejo the top goalscorer. Coaching the team was Gregory Walcott, who was assisted by Kevin Edwards and Clayton Knott.
