With Presentation College San Fernando on a bye, Shiva Boys Hindu College failing to win, and San Juan North Secondary flopping in the south, defending champions Naparima College regained their lead in the BGTT/First Citizens Secondary Schools Football League yesterday.

Naparima found back their scoring boots when Isaiah Hudson scored a treble while Renaldo Francois chipped in with two of his own, as the move across the to Manny Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella did not deter ‘Naps’ in the least, with the restored league leaders beating Trinity College East 5-1. Keshorn Hackshaw scored the only goal for Trinity East.

St Mary's College were also big winners, as they also racked up five goals when they beat Speyside High 5-0 over in Tobago. Ethan Shim scored a hat-trick, while Aaron Skeene scored the other goal for the ‘Saints’. The fifth goal came from an own goal.
