STRIKER Anthony O'Garro scored a career-best seven goals to guide his team, Presentation College of Chaguanas, to the 2004 Central Zone championship with an 18-1 mauling of Chaguanas Senior Comprehensive, in the British Gas Secondary Schools Football League at Presentation Ground in Chaguanas.
He was followed by Marvin Manswell, who scored in the 22nd to take his season's tally to 16, and Anslem Allert in the 23rd minute.
Presentation blasted 10 goals in the second half, with captain Kevon Lalloo getting three in the 69th, 70th and 71st minutes.
Anslem Allert, in the 81st, Reon Pegus, in the 49th and 80th minutes and substitute Mark Ali closed off the floodgates in the 89th minute.
Following heavy showers, the match started 15 minutes late (4pm) with the visitors showing up with 10 players.
After the sixth goal, the Chaguanas goalie, Balcon, who was injured in a melee in the penalty area, had to be substituted with Damien Joseph.
Dayne Frederick, the Presentation manager, said he was very happy with the result, the eighth straight by Presentation, who comes up against Tabaquite on Tuesday on Tabaquite’s home ground.
