BG T&T Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Central Zone champions Carapichaima Secondary continued their good form this season as they defeated Tobago champs Mason Hall Secondary 2-0 in the first game of the 2009 SSFL "Big Five" at Dwight Yorke Stadium, Tobago yesterday.

Carapichaima, who were knocked out of the Big Five last year in the semi-finals, remained unbeaten in all competitions this season, thanks to a double from Nathan James.

James, one of the many in-form players in the Carapichaima line-up, struck home in the 16th and 47th minutes to ensure an easy victory for the Central big guns.

Carapichaima now move on to the Big Five semis on Thursday when they will meet South Zone champions Presentational College San Fernando at Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella from 3:30 p.m.

The other Big Five semi-final takes place tomorrow between North winners St Mary's College and East champs St Augustine Secondary at Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain from 3:30 p.m.
