Having just won the 2009 Trinidad & Tobago Women's League Football (WOLF) Premier League competition, Tobago Football Club will be heavily favoured to also grab a spot among the last four in the FA Trophy competition when they take on First Division Point Fortin Pioneers from 4 p.m today at the Dwight Yorke Stadium.

Tobago will be without foreign-based striker Kenya "Ya Ya" Cordner, who has scored 14 goals for the season, but has now taken up a three-month contract with amateur club Kvarnsvedens LK in Sweden. Already through to the semi-finals are Joe Public, Sweaters F.C. and Real Dimension.

The semi finals will take place on Wednesday as a double-header at the Marvin Lee Stadium, beginning at 5 p.m. The final will take place from six o'clock on Tuesday 26 at the same venue.

Tobago FC recently won the Premier Division league competition without kicking a ball. They were gifted the title when the bottom team Petrotrin failed to show for their rescheduled match on August 5 at the Plymouth Recreation Ground. The default win propelled Tobago FC to 23 points from their 10 matches, one more than Joe Public. The National Under-17 women, who are using the competition to prepare for next year's FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup, finished third after winning four and drawing two of their ten matches.

Meanwhile, the Big Four competition will take place in the sister isle on Friday 21 and Sunday 23.

The Big Four tournament involves the top two teams in both the Premier League and the First Division. Tobago FC and Joe Public will represent the Premier League, while Trincity Nationals and Defence Force will represent the First Division.
