CHAMPS Sidey’s eked out a 1-0 victory over lowly Earlbrokes, to stay top of the Tobago Football Association Premier Division.

Glenroy Frederick scored what turned out to be the match winning goal in the 42nd minute for the defending champions. 

D’Lime Bar Goal City thumped Bethel United 5-1 in their match at the Moriah Recreation ground. 

Kerlon Ferguson fired in a hat-trick for the winners, while Andell King and Kyle George got the other goals. 

Duane Marcelle netted a late penalty for the consolation goal for the men from Bethel. 

Black Rock and Golden played out an exciting 3-3 draw in the other Premier Division game. 

Kenvern Marcelle scored a hat-trick for Black Rock, his first in the 14th minute, giving his team a half-time lead. 

But goals from Kurtnel Joseph in the 58th and Makeil McKenzie 63, put Golden Lane ahead. 

Marcelle’s second goal in the 74th minute levelled the scores at 2-2 before in-form Kyron George got his third goal in as many matches in the 82nd for Golden Lane to retake the lead 3-2. 

Marcelle netted a penalty in the 90th minute to complete his “trick” and give Black Rock a share of the points. 

Meanwhile, at the River Bank Oval, Georgia FC and Roxborough Lakers battled to a 0-0 draw.
